Baoti Has Developed The Heaviest And Longest High Strength, High Toughness Titanium Alloy Plate in China
Recently, Baoti Group has successfully developed a 1000mpa high strength and high toughness titanium alloy sheet with a single weight of 8.7 tons and a specification of 55×2200×15700mm, which is the largest single weight and longest wide, high strength and high toughness titanium alloy sheet produced in China so far.
During the development process, the project team of Baoti Co., Ltd. has overcome and mastered a series of key technologies, such as the smelting of ultra-large high-strength and high-toughness titanium alloy ingots, the preparation of large-scale wide-format ultra-thick high-strength and high-toughness titanium alloy slabs, and the rolling of wide-format ultra-long high-strength and high-toughness titanium alloy slabs. The performance and ultrasonic flaw detection results of this new sheet have been successfully developed. Excellent, creating a new record of “the largest homogeneous ingot, the largest single-weight slab, and the largest high-quality sheet” of high-strength and high-toughness titanium alloy in China, and the overall technology ranks at the domestic leading level.
It is understood that this product can meet the needs of large-scale pressure-resistant equipment in the deep sea, and it is of great significance to improve the level of large-scale and lightweight marine equipment in our country.
